Review on HHIP 4901 0602 Machinist Steel Square by Wade Meeks

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Closer to 90 degrees, not an exact square but has its uses

considering an exact square costs many times more don't expect accuracy from a cheap "machine " -Square . You could be lucky and get one that's close to 90 degrees, or you could be unlucky and no. I've tried two samples of the product and both have interior and exterior angles less than 90 degrees, with the interior angle being even worse. If you care about how good your sample is, test it with a reliable sensor. I also had to use a thin diamond file to deburr the joist to avoid cutting myself on the sharp edges. Otherwise it will appear solid and the beam will be straight. Despite small errors, these small squares are good for many tasks. Just keep this in mind when buying and using.
