Great product for my little guy who loves minecaft! The size is big, like big, not small at all. My son is 6 years old so before giving him I explained to him that this is not a stuffed animal, it's very hard so you can't really hit anything or anyone! So remember who you give it to. It's very easy to switch between ax and sword, very easy and simple, just pull and push, my 5 year old also managed to do it very easily. In pickaxe mode, the tips have a foam part that retracts when you push it down. So when your kid pretends to hit something, the spikes go in, but again, this toy is made out of 99% hard and thick plastic. In sword mode, the sword edges are also covered with foam. I think this toy will last quite a long time, it seems to be of very high quality.
