Review on 🍃 Palm Leaf Mini Bowl, PacknWood - Biodegradable Wooden Bowls (6 oz, 4.7" Diameter) - Case of 100, SKU: 210BBB12 by David Monaco

I used these for an outdoor birthday party recently and they were great for making very juicy marinated pork tacos. After eating, people could compost them or burn them in a fire pit. Overall, I was very happy that I didn't see hordes of plastic paraphernalia in the regular trash. As mentioned, they are fairly moisture resistant and very durable. I think my only complaint is that the coloration varies greatly from bowl to bowl; Normally this didn't bother me too much but as I was serving them at a party I was concerned that guests might think some of them had been used before (and hadn't been cleaned properly) - some color differences looked like old food stains. The finish is also a bit rougher than shown in the product photo: for example, the edges can be quite rough. Those two things detract from the "love" review — but for the money and what they are, I choose them over paper or plastic any day. I still have a few bowls left, so I plan to take them with me when I go hiking/camping out west. I hope they last a few washes (I think they will) and that will reduce the amount of stuff I have to lug home. Anyone who has done mountaineering knows how much less is worth!
