My friend gave this to me in mid-April. It's been 3 months now and while it's cute all the good stuff is ending. At first it was very difficult to work with the fasteners, but over time it became easier. But within a week the black paint, coating or something else had come loose from the connections on the outside of the belt. I work in an office, not on a construction site. That means it's just cheap. Now, even inside the tape, it is not only erased, but also blows, turning the inner surface into an abrasive. My wrist turns greenish blue, like cheap metal. I never let it touch water, there's no reason it should fall that fast. Also, the detachable links in the length adjustment strap are illogically large. When I bought it, it was a bit big, but handy. Now that I've lost weight, it's gotten so big that I no longer feel my Fitbit vibrate when I get a text or call. Two fingers can easily fit between the bracelet and wrist. But if I remove even one link, it becomes so tight that it cuts off blood flow and leaves ugly marks on the wrist where the chain and links dig into the skin. That's ridiculous. So I think buy this if you plan on replacing it in 3 months or less.
