This magical device fits perfectly in the existing cutout for my 6 gallon suburban water heater. Everything fitted exactly as it should, the connections I made some modifications to remove the bypass valve and also shorten the hot water fitting to fit better and basically the CT to tank connections (plastic on brass) too update, and on mine the gas line was a hose so this part became even easier. Disconnect the old one and put in the new one. It took a couple of hours to make sure everything was done correctly and correctly, and to run the control cables through the wall. I used THHN 18g cables to extend the control cables and also to extend the 12v cable that was connected to the old unit. Toggled the switch for the old unit from electricity to propane and BAM. The device turns on as soon as I turn on the hot water, it only takes a few seconds to heat up. As soon as I turn off the heating, the flame ignites and cools down. Now I've had 2 very comfortable long showers and no longer have to turn off the water to lather up! I'm sold out! Worth every damn penny! I will NOT return to the tank. There is absolutely NO MINUS to say about this device when connected to websites. Boon's docking can be an issue when you turn the water on and off in the shower as it puts you in the cold for a few seconds, but I rarely use the dock, so yeah. I'm so happy! Thank you Ferrion!
