Review on 📀 Sony Silver DVP-NS55P/S Single Disc DVD Player by Tony Suggs

The player itself was quite good - picture quality, settings, etc. But only after 8 months it stopped playing discs that we put in - "cannot be played", there was one message on the display. Why am I giving it 4 stars you might be wondering? The answer is simple - replacing the player was the best experience in servicing the product under warranty. I went online, filled out a form, printed 2 pages, boxed up the player (£7 cheap to ship - $10 UPS) without wasting time with anyone on the phone. The replacement was shipped a day after receiving my return. Don't worry at all. Yes, the product fails, but the company stands behind it and that makes you feel good. My only advice is to spend the extra money on an extended warranty - you never know what might happen and with Sony it's worth it.
