Light strips are incredibly easy to install and shipped quickly. Personally I'm a bit disappointed. Just finished installing. The day here is gloomy, overcast, so it's not very bright outside, but the streaks carry almost no light. It really just looks like a cheap piece of clear plastic that I stuffed in the door. This is despite the fact that the ambient lighting is 100% hard-coded (using Bimmercode). If I block some light with my hand you can tell it has a very faint orange glow. Hopefully it will look a lot better at night but definitely not as crispy as the pictures. For reference, I have a 2014 328xi with the convenience package. It's entirely possible that my car's LEDs just aren't bright enough for the advertised effect, but you definitely won't get the nice, clear ambient lighting that you find in new luxury cars.
