Review on πŸ”§ BOSCH ITBHQC201 2.25 inch, Impact Tough Quick Change Bit Holder by Kenji Townsend

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Losing Beats has finally become a real pain.

After all those years of using the magnetic bit holder with screwdriver bits and getting lost in the grass, weeds or whatever, it was just time for a change. I bought some pretty good holders and none of them were strong enough to fix the lost bat problem for a very long time. Bits often got stuck in the screw head, fell out when carrying the drill driver, or just fell out when I was standing on the stairs. I liked this type of holder because the bit wrapping was cheap and easy to replace if it broke. This was the answer to that problem, and while it's not a perfect solution, it's probably the best I can get given what I wanted. I put my bits and drill bits in a magnetic parts tray and take everything with me when I start making something so nothing falls out and I can easily change the bit depending on the type of head of the screw...usually #2 Phillips or square drive . The only weakness with this is that it's a little loose, so the drill bit wobbles a little... but not enough to make much of a difference. I would have preferred a rollback release to a forward release, but for around $6 it does what I want and is pretty much everything I expected it to be.
