This option works very well. Several conventional USB devices (keyboard, mouse, card reader) are connected to it. Also, I often charge my phone through this hub. The high-speed port charges the phone very quickly, that is, just like any other high-quality QC. Please note that the total power is 36W according to the specifications. So if you have several power-hungry devices plugged into it, you might be putting too much strain on it. Again, I haven't seen a better solution unless you're willing to pay a lot more and in a much bigger package.
