I'm terribly bad at curling my hair with a magic wand and I've almost given up my dream of messy curls. But now that I have this thing, I can do my hair the way I've always wanted! It took a few tries to learn how to put the hair down the barrel, but after that it was very easy to use. It used to take me over 45 minutes to curl or straighten my hair - I finished this thing in 20. The only thing that bothers me is the beep. There is no way to turn it off and it beeps loudly on each strand of hair multiple times. In total I need to hear about 150 beeps to complete the whole head. This is REALLY annoying and I wish the manufacturer would turn the volume down or give an option to turn it off. If you have sensory or hearing problems, you can pass this on.
