Review on Nelson 855784 1001 Gender Neutral Plumb Fitting by Deejay Allard

I received the hose fitting I ordered a day ago, delivery is fast. It has male and female connectors on both sides which I tried to use to connect two water hoses. The male fitting is fine but the female fitting leaks water as shown in the attached video. I've tried several water hoses and had the same problem with a leak on the female side. I sent my complaint to Revain and the seller and asked them to send me another one. Then the next day I got a second fitting (tip) but she had the same problem – leakage from the female side. I scratched my hair and couldn't believe it was going to happen again. Then I googled and found something I didn't know before: pipe threads are different than hose threads. This fitting is for connecting a PIPE to a hose when I was trying to connect two hoses. THIS WAS THE REASON THAT WATER LEAKED ME! The manufacturer's specifications already state that this fitting is intended to connect a pipe and a hose and not to connect two hoses. I must apologize to Revane and the seller for a mistake. So I changed my rating from 2 to 5 stars. This fitting is solid metal and is good.
