Review on 🐾 Blue Fleece Lined Pet Boots by Guardian Gear by Tonya Young

Durability is an issue

Finding boots for every dog can be difficult. What works for one dog may not work for another. But for my current Walker Hound, these boots are by far the best for her. She takes them well, they fit her well and stay put unless we're in deep snow. The design is simple and they are relatively easy to put on. We're often several miles into the Wyoming mountains and I rarely have any trouble with them loosening or turning. However, I should note that I only use them on the dog's front paws. The price also seems reasonable, but keep in mind that I only use two at a time. The reason I only give them three stars is that the quality just isn't what I want to see. The floors in particular are made of plastic, which is not very durable. It tends to snap and cave in for only three to four miles. In addition, the toes of the boots wear out very quickly. If there are holes in the boots then they are useless as sand etc will get in and cause real problems. If these boots were made of quality leather they would be perfect. Somehow they work well, but not for very long. If you have a small dog that runs on the lawn they are perfect. If you have a large, active dog and want to go cross-country riding, be prepared to change out your boots every few days.

  • Enjoyable
Cons
