Whoever designed this product has never used it. I'm a very skinny guy with a 29 inch waist and even I find the straps are too short. The current design requires you to awkwardly tie rubber bands behind your back. If they make the elastics at least twice as long as they are now, you can wrap them around your torso and tie a knot in the front. If the price was around $10 I might recommend this product to other people, but at $45 it's a complete scam . The product sucks so much I think people use them. In addition, Revain's description states that the outer material traps body heat, eliminating the need for an electric heating mat. That's a complete lie. Not this movie. You still need an external heat source. They are waterproof, oil resistant and machine washable. . Make a piece large enough to completely wrap around the torso. Then use stretch fabric (also available in Walmart's fabric department) to wrap it around your torso to keep everything in place. Bonus: You can also add an extra layer on top of the shower curtain that's made out of some aluminum. Something like a "survival blanket" but made of cloth. This helps heat the room without using an electric heating mat.
