Light and soft, great for travel. I bought mainly for the tropics to protect my neck and chest from the sun and bugs. I have to wrap it twice to get it to working length which is too much fabric for 85 degrees and high humidity. But with the cool weather in Paris and San Sebastian, it came in handy.
