I received the faceplate today and immediately noticed a difference in quality. The color is silver, but not as silver as the Hero4. If, like me, you ordered this because your bezel was cracked and you just wanted to replace that part, you won't be able to use the original "mode" button with the new bezel. This bezel only fits the included mode button, which is a shame as the included mode button doesn't have the little black gasket that the original needs to keep dust and dirt out. Before I go any further, I didn't realize the buttons aren't interchangeable, so I put a new bezel over the original button, which didn't work because the original button was too big. This new bezel pushes the button down to keep it on. So I removed the bezel and used the knob that came with it. After installing it, I use hero4 and find that I have to forcefully press the mode button to get it to turn on and off and switch modes. I didn't like it because I didn't want to damage my Gopro camera by repeatedly hard-pressing the mode button. So I figured I'd just put the original bezel and button back on. I was about to pull this new one off and one of the tabs breaks off and gets stuck in hero4. He falls on his back and is lost inside. In summary, if you are looking for something that will make your GoPro look its best and perform the right way, this product is definitely not worth the price and is not worth buying. Find another product that is not worth your time or money.
