I was looking for a way to filter the air to help with allergies. I bought this a couple of weeks ago mainly because of the great price and style. It was packaged very well and was very easy to set up in just a few minutes. As you can see in the photo of the top of the block, the dial has 4 positions - off; calm cleanliness; Honey: and, Quick Cleanse. 3 settings change fan speed - simple and easy. The filter has both HEPA and activated carbon and is very easy to install just by gently pulling on the front of the unit - no screws etc. It is designed for the bedroom to clean the air during the night. I tried a few settings when I first got it, but settled on this routine — I turned on Quick Clean about an hour before bed. Then turn it down to Whisper Cleaning before bed - at this slow setting, the sound is like a "white noise" car. After that, there was a very noticeable positive difference in allergy symptoms for about 4 days. In addition, the room gives a feeling of freshness. If you want to "clean the air" this is a great air filter at a great price.
