Review on πŸ”₯ Chill in Style with the Pelican 30 Quart Elite Cooler: A Must-Have for Outdoor Enthusiasts by Jorge Tupou

Simply the best non-cheap cooler

Simply the best non-cheap cooler. Where do I start, the construction is superb throughout, the bars are real bars and flow like hot oil, not those stupid rubber things on the yeti and mouth. The handles are real, thick and strong, unlike the Yeti, which has a rope and garden hose. Now I don't hate the Yeti, I have two of their 64oz thermos, a 32oz and an 18oz Rambler and it's fantastic. Even the Yeti lies, misleading you well. For example, their Yeti 65 doesn't have 65 liters of internal volume, but 65 liters of external volume. Also for a Yeti more expensive than a Pelican it doesn't make sense, I understand why some chose RTIC, a friend has two, they are normal, but the build quality is far from the same. A good example of their ice endurance, drove a Daytona500 last month, loaded up on a Friday night, ice was as fresh as it can be on a Sunday, a mate had a cheap cheap cooler filled with ice in the morning and was melting the ice by noon. I have an old design 65qt and a new design 30qt. If you look at the 20qt I think the old design is better as the new one is so vertical. They last 10 years or more, so it's worth the investment.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine
