Too pretty to use - kitchen and dining room

I love these towels! I don't use terry cloth or microfiber towels and am always on the lookout for attractive cotton kitchen towels. I thought they would look great in my kitchen and do their duty as a towel but they are so pretty I hate them! They are well made, if a bit thin. So if you're not looking for the super absorbency you'd get with terrycloth or microfiber, then they're fine for real-world use. They're not as thick as some industrial flour sackcloth, but they do the job. But I can't bring myself to use them. The towels have three vertical stripes: a cascade of monochrome rust-orange sunflowers sitting between two striped towel segments. The colors are rich and inviting, and the towels themselves are intricately cut and sewn neatly and evenly. I have so many usable kitchen towels that I really don't mind not using them in practice. They do their job by just being so beautiful. They look great hung up (they have a sewn-in loop for that) or on the lining of a bread box. I love them in my kitchen.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
