I have used and loved Command Strip products for years and have always been satisfied. These strips didn't work, I'm not sure if the product was old, but after preparing the wall according to the instructions as always, I used them to hang plates from my grandma's Christmas collection. They were within the weight of the hanger. Small ceramic plates weighing 6 ounces each. The strips didn't peel off as usual and didn't feel as sticky, but I thought "OK, maybe the new improved sticky ones" and left them in place for 24 hours before hanging anything on them. Within an hour a plate fell off the wall and broke and I had to replace it for $25. And shortly thereafter, another plate fell, but luckily it didn't break, and during the day two more fell off the wall. Luckily it doesn't break either. I've since removed everything and replaced it with nail hangers and alternate command strips, which have worked great. I think it's old.
