The product had the same smell as the store bought product but the texture and smoothness are not the same, it seems "thicker" like a lotion to be but not the silky feel of the originals. I haven't been using it long enough to tell if it protects and tightens skin like the original product. But with this product at this price, this is NOT a deal with the real Estee Lauder.
