Powerful With Some Minor Issues

I purchased this product from Best Buy and I am not compensated in any way for this review. My overall impression of the compressor is positive. It is powerful and inflated my RV tires to 80 psi. A buyer should understand this is not like compressor that stores air and recharges when it gets below a certain level. Instead it pumps the necessary pressure into a tire from the surrounding air. I have easy access to my RV battery so I don't have any issues with cord length. The hose length is more than adequate as well. The air coming out of the compressor gets really hot. Also, the compressor surface can burn you even if it was used for a minute or two. The compressor should be given some time to cool before putting it away in a bag or RV storage area. The gauge is not as accurate as I hoped. I believe you need to turn off the air compressor to get the true tire PSI otherwise the gauge will read the higher incoming pressure. I need look into that further. I will probably get a more accurate gauge at some point, but it's close enough for now.The pressure release valve was not installed tightly to the compressor, but I was able to tighten it by removing the pull ring and red cover. The nut was easily accessible to make the adjustment.Overall I have to give this four stars with one star knocked off because of the cheap gauge and loose pressure release valve, but neither were deal breakers for me. For a compressor in this price range, I give it two thumbs up.

Pros
  • Good power and air flow
Cons
  • Don’t like the chuck. It’s hard to get it to seal. Appears to be well made.
