I bought these thinking they might have many uses. I currently use them for dog walking and tick repellent. I wanted to treat her but the first time the dog had to go! LOL Anyway I didn't notice the mites even though I wasn't treated. So I wear them untreated and they do their job well. One day I went out without her, and sure enough, when I came back, a tick crawled over me. I think the material (1000 Denier Cordura) is tough enough that the little bastards can't buy it walking on it. There is no adjustment and it could be tightened. It will be bigger but I need smaller/tighter. We don't have a lot of snow so I can change them if I need them for snow. In general I am satisfied with them. You're doing great for the price!
