I put this in an Ashley recliner. The hardest part of the job was just turning over the chair and getting it back upright. The pictures and the video on the product page are helpful. Just remember to measure and order the correct size handle and cable. I only had to remove two screws on the handle, pop the clip out that holds the cable to the metal frame, and then slide out the end of the cable. I removed the cable assembly to measure before I ordered a replacement. I only wish I had put a piece of tape to mark where the end of the cable is inserted, because when it finally arrived and I went to replace it, it took a few minutes of scanning to locate it again.
