Review on 🔩 SainSmart Metal Copper 1KG1 75 Copper Filament Printing: Enhanced Metal Impressions for 3D Printing by Johnny Chambers

All indications are that this is not real copper filament. It does not polish or corrode. Decent, but not worth the price per volume sold. Also the name of this product is misleading; "1KG" makes you think you will get 1kg, but in reality you will only get 0.5kg. UPDATE July 2019 - I would like to update my review. After gaining more experience with 3D printing and other filaments, my expectations have changed and I feel like I was a bit unfair with my initial assessment. For what it is, this thread does what it says on the tin and I've had print results that were just as good as the photos in other reviews. It doesn't polish with a rotary tool and compound, but I suspect other metal-filled filaments won't polish either, since they're made of plastic that melts when rubbed. I bet a stone polisher and flat medium will polish it. I no longer doubt that there is real metal in the thread. Raised to 4 stars for print quality but not 5 due to the potentially misleading product number "1KG1.75" (even though it's actually only 0.5kg).
