I love these shields. They are discreet, not bulky like some, and very easy to use. I don't have to look for a separate element to use, it's already there. I use them on all my lines and most of them last forever. On the ruler that I use almost every day, the screen started to come loose and there was lint between it and the ruler. I removed the protective shield and hand sanded the ruler until the adhesive residue was gone, then reattached the new protective shield. Everything was like new.
