The gel wrist rest is great. I have a huge callus on my wrist from years of working on the computer without a mouse pad overlay and it hurts very quickly on a normal work day. until now. Now that I have this soft mouse pad my wrist feels great after a full day of work. In case it isn't obvious, I work on the computer all day, so RMI is already a big risk, and I think having a palm rest this good really reduces the likelihood of major problems. Totally worth the price, I bought 2. one for the work computer and one for the home computer.
