Did the job for about a month then failed

Purchased this belt for my dip exercises and it worked as it should have for about a month. Thereafter, the metal rings holding the chain started to rip through the loop that holds the rings. The rings are not welded together which caused this malfunction. I have used it for about a year now and it has been impractical in many situations. Need an alternative now.Every now and then the chain will slip out of the openings in the rings and it has grown to become very frustrating. I would recommend shopping elsewhere for your dip belt in an effort to find a more durable and safe product. Would not recommend.
