Good quality locking pin. I used them on my rake to replace lame little pins supplied by the rake manufacturer because there is real snow where I live. I got tired of catching the second floor rake head with an extension ladder, so I bought Hillman locking pins, drilled a hole right through the rake handle, and installed those pins. No problems since, even with 18 inches of wet snow on the roof. Hillman locking pins have a stiff locking spring that won't disengage like the Koch 4021631 locking clip I first tried which was lame like the original pin roof rail slider. Buy Hillman Locking Pins, NOT Koch!
