Review on 🏠 DuPont WFHDC3001 Universal Heavy-Duty Pleated Poly Cartridge for Whole House by Jose Muenzen

I purchased this cartridge and a Pentek R50-BB, 9-3/4" x 4-1/2", 50 micron pleated polyester filter cartridge at the same time, this review is 100% based on my observations behind the design (as I'm a bit skeptical that a home consumer tester like me can really objectively evaluate performance without a lab). At the time of my order, this was the cheapest pleated sediment filter 10"x4" including shipping. I counted 48 pleats 1 1/2 inches deep. If you look at my review of Pentek, you'll see that I prefer it (78 folds and better construction). You may have to wait a few years for me to install this one. how I installed the Pentek. I depend on city water so my needs are minimal, our house seems to get scale that comes down the hill and settles right on the valves of my washing machine :-). and the flow is still pretty good, including the two hydrant flushes that usually raise the slurry.By the way, the hot tub has fewer wrinkles (40).Made in China. .
