I'm late for the Swedish kitchen towel trend. These little towels are great for wiping down everything from espresso machines and gleaming stainless steel refrigerator doors to polished quartz countertops that show spills, water stains and streaks. They are also good for hand washing glasses, plates and cutlery. If they get dirty, simply place them on the top shelf of the dishwasher or in the washing machine and let them air dry. They dry out slightly deformed, but smooth out again the next time we wet them. This six pack is cute. Ferns and lemon prints make me smile. And although I've wiped up coffee and other dirt with it, it hasn't discolored yet. The manufacturer lists the composition as 70 percent cellulose and 30 percent cotton and says that when the wipes wear out, you can put them in your home compost heap. This tree lover agrees.
