I love this style of foldable shopping boxes and have been using the Earthwise shopping box set (other brand) for almost 3 years now. In comparison, they are thicker and heavier. I love that they have a bottom panel that pops up when folded. This is an important feature if you use it regularly for shopping. I will post a photo showing how wide the edges are. They are a little less compact (in depth) when folded, but that's because the material is very thick and strong. They may have a strong plastic/petroleum odor when they arrive, but this will dissipate after around 24 hours. I'm not sensitive to such things, but the smell was strong enough that I felt compelled to mention it. I assume they will be used weekly for at least 5 years. The only feature they don't have is short side lift handles if you don't want to use longer straps. Next to. it is excellent. and durable!
