Works as a backup remote for my 4K Roku but I don't plan to use it for long. I didn't think it was sensible to buy a remote exactly like the original remote (with more options) my dad was given when he lost his because for the price I could add a little more and buy a brand new Roku box including the remote control. So I decided to use this as a replacement. I added "usually" to the title because, as others have said, sometimes you have to press the keys multiple times before it works. This doesn't always seem to be the case, so I've yet to find a pattern, but it's frustrating at times, e.g. B. re-entering login information for some channels or entering search information. I'm getting a new Roku box soon so it will be boxed up until needed again as a replacement. I can't talk about how it works with any model other than 4K because that's all we have; it may (or may not) work better with a different model. Generally this works as a last resort if you lose your original remote or give it to someone else who uses theirs a lot more than you do.
