I read many reviews on different products before I decided to purchase this product. I looked at the thermos first (which is cheaper and has more colors and designs available). What made me choose this is that the lid doesn't trap food and it feels like a quality product that will last longer. I usually take the lid gasket off every time I wash it so it doesn't get dirty/smelly. . The price is higher than other food jars but so far I'm very happy with it and think the price difference is worth it. I hope I can use it for a few years Pros: -Easy to clean, food doesn't get stuck in the lid -Food stays warm for hours -The lid is easy to open due to its design Cons: -Price quoted is high -Not many colors available - I could not find a company that sells replacement caps
