Tiny holes in kitchen and dining area

Overall this is a good product but after washing your hands you need to make sure it is either on the bottom or side of the dish drying rack. That's because there are tiny holes in the bottom for water to get in through, and if you don't make sure the water drains properly, you'll see tiny drips or small puddles on the countertop, or big wet spots on your kid's lunch. pocket

Keeps the food warm very well

I am very happy with this lunch box for my first grader daughter. This works really well to keep her lunch warm. The only thing I don't like is that the spoon is too small, just like a child's spoon. It can't hold that much food. I understand the design wants the spoon to fit the jar, the handle can be short but the spoon doesn't have to be tiny. Instead, I used our own spoon. Still, I like this can.

The temperature is not maintained well.

I use this for soup or stew for lunch. I preheat them with hot water for about 15 minutes before filling them with contents about 1/2 hour before commuting to work. As my lunchtime is about 4-4.5 hours later, the contents are very warm but not hot. I've used this 5 or 6 times already. So I made this for my friend who doesn't like her food very spicy. She likes it, but it's not for me. I'm going back to my original small branded thermos.

  • This is great

Handy size keeps food warm

This thermos is a good size - it fits a standard can of Progresso soup. It doesn't leak and keeps you warm and warm (according to my daughter) until 5 hours later at noon. It has a wide opening which is nice to be able to eat soup straight from a thermos but my 6 year old daughter has trouble putting her hand around it to get a good grip to open it. But even if you don't tighten it, it still won't leak, so most school-age kids probably won't have a problem with it.

  • Great for me

The best functional design.

Bought for my 8 year old. The handle on the lid makes it easy to open with small hands. My 10 year old and I tried it out personally and were pleased with the overall ease of use. The best functional design is the opening for one reason - the glass is the same width from top to bottom. Make sure that hot food stays too hot for a long time. We water at 8am and use it at noon and it stays hot. I would happily buy this for myself if they make it bigger (16-18 oz). The only thing I don't like is…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Malfunction - Lid cannot be opened when hot objects are inside

This product is defective. I don't know if it's just that thermos or the design. Unfortunately, I only found this out after the return period had closed. While the product may appear fine at room temperature, once you've put something hot inside and put the lid on, it's almost impossible to remove the lid. Seems to have hit a dead end. You can flip it, but it just clicks and stays pretty much in the same spot on the thermos. We only tried to use it twice and both times the same thing happened…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive

Easy to clean and works

I read many reviews on different products before I decided to purchase this product. I looked at the thermos first (which is cheaper and has more colors and designs available). What made me choose this is that the lid doesn't trap food and it feels like a quality product that will last longer. I usually take the lid gasket off every time I wash it so it doesn't get dirty/smelly. . The price is higher than other food jars but so far I'm very happy with it and think the price difference is worth…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
