The proximity sensor functions properly, and auto brightness is also as it should be (although some people claim that everything is stupid). Perhaps everything was fixed in the new firmware. I bought "Certify," and as it should be, version 13 arrived about a week later. The delivery was quick. I'm hoping the gadget won't let me down in the future. I like it; but, you are free to disregard my recommendation.
