Hard to beat in this price range, but the LED could be brighter.
Bought this for my youngest child - we wanted a better microscope than the all in one kits, with LED lighting and a large field of view. Pros: Comes with 2 eyepieces (10x and 25x), LED lighting under the stage, and coarse/fine focus knobs are smooth. People see higher magnifications in cheap microscopes and think the standard setting is better, but the field of view on these cheap scopes is absurdly small. -- You need more light to see something with a narrow field of view. If I had to buy another microscope at this price, I would definitely consider buying this model again.
