I loved and still love my crochet hooks BUT they don't make short ends and their cord isn't very flexible. I have terrible pain in my arm and am trying to wear a sweater to find a less painful way to knit the sleeves. I bought these needles. Oh what a relief. Knitting tight garments like sleeves and socks is much easier with lace shorts. I like how the short needles feel in hand, I wasn't expecting that, knit as they feel more comfortable. I find the insertion and removal of needles painful and my husband usually helps me. But I have very bad hands, I wouldn't give the product credit for that.
