I bought this SSD to add to my new Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 15.6 inch (2021 model). The Galaxy Book Pro comes standard with an M.2 2230 SSD and it's hard to find a 1TB with a 2230 or expensive if available. It's good that the laptop has an additional M.2 2280 NVME slot for updates. So instead of swapping out the SSD I just got this PNY CS2130 1TB as an extra drive. Installation was quick and easy and the laptop was able to recognize and format it without any problems. I don't care about the read/write speed of this drive , but I can say that this works very quickly. I was able to open 64MP RAW images in Adobe Lightroom very quickly, and exporting these images to disk as JPEG is fast. Before, when I exported a hundred images to a spinning hard drive, I could get up and have a coffee before it was done. But with this setup I don't even have time to finish exporting hundreds of images. I've only been using this drive for a week and I'm impressed. If that's enough for me for at least 5 years, then it's worth it. Highly recommended.
