The pump works well on my 1984 Toyota Cressida with a 2JZGE+T engine swap. I highly recommend updating the fuel pump wiring if you are using this pump. it consumes little power. Also, this pump MUST be installed at or below the bottom of the tank. If you don't, it will cavitate and make all sorts of noises and the fuel won't pump properly. Ask me how I know. Once properly installed it is very quiet with a slight hum. If you have a bad fuel line, you'll know this right away, too, by tearing it apart and splattering fuel everywhere. Ask me again how I know that.
