Mount is not flush!

You'll need to countersink the barrel under the mount about, which means you need a 3/4" drill bit. The hole for the barrel you will need is about 1/2" depth. Other latches I've seen are flush and don't need this modification.just predrill two holes for the wood screws and one for the shaft.that is it. This latch's mechanism is stiff and lock and keys feel cheap. It's not worth the trouble to return it, but I'll keep it for spare parts.

Pros

These fit most shed doors, but not all.

Cons

The 4-1/2" size of the T handle could be too large or bulky for some users
