There is an issue with this timer that some might consider a deal breaker. The alarm clock is not very loud: my hearing is good, but when it was right in front of me it went off and I didn't hear it. And from many angles, depending on the lighting, the digit display is unreadable: you only see 88:88. Also, a special watch battery is required instead of the AAA battery. But on the plus side, the design is very clean and sleek - sort of like a very thick credit card. The buttons require a lot of pressure, so you can't accidentally turn it off when you're carrying it around, for example. The magnet is strong enough that you can press the buttons while it's on the fridge without fear of it falling on the floor. And when it reaches 00:00, it stays at 00:00, so you can see at a glance that the time is up (up). At least for me, these positive aspects far outweigh the negative ones. As for the hard-to-read display - just turn it sideways!
