Check the engine gauge and limp mode on a 2012 Cummins Ram 2500

Do not buy. Put it on my 2012 Cummins Turbo Diesel 2500. This changes the accelerator pedal programming as advertised so the truck thinks you're giving it more gas when you're not, but the problem started on the second day. Yes, on the SECOND day! I had it in sport +/+4 mode. I pulled up at an intersection and the truck went into limp mode, my red strobe flashed, the check engine light came on and the truck was literally EVERYWHERE! almost got a t-bone. THEN I had to (middle of the road) turn off my truck, unplug my computer, and reconnect the normal accelerator cable. I started the car and only the check engine light came on. After I finally got to work that day, I decided to go on lunch break and plug it back in, but this time in normal city mode 0. Driven through a parking lot, and BAM! happened again. This time my truck freaked out, even worse than the first time, headlights flashed everywhere. I would NOT let my wife drive my truck until I turn the check engine light off and make sure it doesn't come on again (disconnect the negative cables from both of my batteries for over two hours). This product is an over-glamorized, over-hyped piece of junk. Cables connected to the device have been wrapped with non-professional electrical tape. If you want to avoid this, just stick with the standard truck. not worth the risk I took and the problems I had for $330. Luckily my truck is fine, but I've read other reviews about the PCM blowing up. HUGE issues, if so, that I could see were the issues I was having. STAY AWAY!
