These scissors are pretty accurate and sharp. So there is no real problem. However, within a month the blades were rusting from the humidity in the bathroom. It is very doubtful that these scissors are made of stainless steel. When I tried to rub the rust spots with my fingers, one of the blades broke off. It did not break when twisted or bent. When I squeezed the blade between my thumb and forefinger to rub off the rust, the 1/4 inch tip of the blade separated from the rest of the blade. I literally ripped off the tip of the blade by gently pulling with my thumb and forefinger. If you need timing accuracy, these scissors will do. If you need durability, look elsewhere.
