Review on 🔧 Complete Shim Kit HCSHIM00 - Hot Cams 8.90mm for Select KTM Dirt Bikes 2005-2017 by Philip Breeze

I bought this kit to service my 2014 350EXC KTM. The package came quickly, everything seems fine. I did the valve clearance and resealed everything. The bike started easily, no problems except running very noisy (mechanical noise, no exhaust). I took it for a fast ride and no improvement so thought I might have done something wrong and took it to the mechanics. However, after $300 I was told I did nothing wrong, the problem was with the gaskets. Two of the four pads I used in particular had rounded edges (instead of sharp, square edges). As a result, they didn't quite sit in place and rattled when the engine was running. So thank you hot cams. I should note that not all of the seals in the packaging are rounded. Some yes, some not so natural that I thought it didn't matter. And so it was.
