I've been looking over and over for HEPA filters for my Honeywell that didn't give off a headache causing bad smell and here it is. I bought my Honeywell air purifier and plugged it in, but had to discontinue it almost immediately due to the horrible chemical smell wafting through the room. I actually almost returned it due to this issue, but then I searched the internet and found that many people were having the same issue and it seemed to be coming from the HEPA filters that came with the air purifier. As the ones supplied are supplied by Honeywell you might think they are high quality and best at cleaning the air without polluting it with even worse odors that cause horrible headaches, but they aren't. After much searching and almost giving up I decided to try them and I'm so glad I did, they seem to do a great job of cleaning the air and not giving me a headache or making me sick. We'll see how they hold up over time, but so far so good, at least I can use my air purifier. The only problem I've found is that the filters tend to fall out of their intended places on the air purifier, so I either have to put the air purifier on or quickly put the activated carbon filter on top of the HEPA filters and put the cap on or else fall them out .
