For a budget HDMI card, this is perfect! I use it with my Panasonic G7 and also with an old camcorder. I assume it will work fine with video games. Now keep in mind that you only get 30 fps at 1080p, but it's fine for my use. The picture quality is amazing. If you're using a desktop mic you'll get a lag, but if you're familiar with obs this is an easy fix. I didn't notice that with camera microphones.
