These food storage bags are safer, longer lasting and outperform other brands I've tried including those made by the same manufacturer as my Foodsaver! They are great for everything from sous pickling/cooking (BPA free) to efficient vacuum packaging (air/oxygen/oxidation) of perishable foods for long shelf life at any temperature. Additionally, all bag sizes available have robust, multifunctional features for frequent access and resealability of a variety of foods such as homemade cereals, snack mixes, dehydrated fruits and vegetables, tea, coffee beans, superfoods, cereals, fatty nuts, flour, aromatic herbs and spices etc. I also use them when traveling to vacuum pack my medications, daily vitamin and phytonutrient supplements, and my toiletries to ensure freshness, potency, and save luggage space, and most importantly, pass TSA security checks quickly! My attached photo shows a bag of pecans and a bag of dehydrated morel mushrooms; I vacuumed both 4 months ago! I hope this helps other potential buyers as there is nothing more frustrating and frustrating than a food storage bag that cannot keep the vacuum seal intact indefinitely!
