This is a great solution for protecting cabinets or doors. It is well made and easy to use once installed correctly. I'm a big fan and glad I bought it. There are some nuances to use though, admittedly I used it in probably the most difficult situation it was intended for, but I learned a few lessons the hard way and thought I'd share them. Let's dive into the pros and cons. Pros - The case is well built, slides easily and comes pre-lubricated - Simple and convenient solution, no keys, fancy biometrics or batteries - It comes with all fasteners and two different mounting options, one for surface bolting and one if required by one drilling other surface are both great options. For door applications, it's advisable to hold it in place and see if it's actually blocking your door/closet. The extra security they provide is negligible. Now for video and picture. The video shows the lock in the locked position and opens when you push the door. This is due to the length of the doors and their shortness. As soon as I move the lock to where it's shown in the picture, it locks the cabinets by itself. If you're using this on a narrow cabinet with short double doors, you may need to do the same. If you use it for a single door or double doors that are longer, you should be fine. All in all a great product that gave me the only solution to what was often a multi-step process.
