Review on TST Through Monitoring System Display by Leo Fairchild

Revainrating 4 out of 5

May need new batteries

Update 5/7/21: I've had the system for almost two years now. The original batteries are in 3 out of 4 sensors and are still working. The same defective sensor keeps draining the batteries. It took some discussion with TST but they sent me a new sensor to replace a bad one. If you receive this system and one of the sensors doesn't work, save yourself the headache and send the entire system back for a replacement. Update: The slow battery discharge sensor was sent back to TST and there were no issues after testing. it's for a week. TST sent it back to me. I'm planning to end up buying a new sensor, but right now I have a huge set of batteries that I only need to replace every 4 months. Depending on how I use my camper, it's one battery in spring and then only one battery change in August or September. It's annoying, but technically it works. All other sensors are still on their factory batteries. Downgraded to the previous 4 stars. Apparently mine is not normal. When I get bored I just buy new sensors and keep the extra sensor as a spare or put on a spare tire. ========================== Item arrived in order. When trying to pair, one of the sensors did not work. I took out the battery and tested it for 0.13v when the book says the minimum is 3v. Changed the battery from another device and it worked fine. In short, buy a few spare batteries when you buy them. I just ordered some and will have this system installed in a few days. In general, the device is easy to program. Glad to have it for my RV when I had a flat tire after going down a hill on the Autobahn last year. 1 year update: the same sensor needed 4 new batteries while others are still factory. Called TST and were a pleasure to deal with. Said mine must have had some sort of short circuit that drained the battery and they're helping me return it. After a year of owning and sitting in my camper which I don't use often I can say they are fantastic. Be sure to install metal racks. I didn't know and thought that by metal stems they just meant the metal threaded part and the rubber on the wheel, but no, they're all metal. I broke one of my stems and thankfully didn't tear it off and both lost a $50 sensor and the tire quickly deflated at speed. Based on the above I have increased my rating to 5 stars.
