Got this grater and tried it right away. It took me 3 bricks of cheese to grate the dish. I pre-cut them into the right size strips and then serve them individually. I shredded 6 pounds of cheese in 5 minutes. It was wonderful! I then used a slicer and sliced an English cucumber in about 30 seconds. I highly recommend this kitchen appliance. It is easy to assemble and disassemble. Works great. I'm not sure why I waited so long to get one. It's much quicker than rubbing your hand on an old grater. The suction thing is very strong and holds it on the counter with no problems.
